Blue Flames Ijen is an independent guide to visiting Kawah Ijen, the sulfur-mining volcano in East Java, and to the tours that take you there. We are not a tour operator, the park authority (BBKSDA Jawa Timur), the sulfur mining company or GetYourGuide, and the site name describes the place we write about rather than a business. For official park information and tickets, see the national parks portal.

Facts here are checked against the park's own portal, Indonesian press reports, the volcano agency's published status and the operators' listings on GetYourGuide, including recent guest reviews. Rules, closures and prices change; when a listing or the park and this page disagree, they win.
